my Core values

You Matter

Integrity Matters

Knowledge Matters

Community Matters

you

matter

I believe in providing a direct, personal, and confidential relationship with you as my client. I work closely with you to provide services and information you need, when you need it.

My practice and processes are designed to operate efficiently through streamlined secure technology, remote conferencing, and online payments. That being said, everyone is different and services are tailored to your needs and preferences.

Through clearly defined expectations, we’ll make a great team!

integrity

matters

I believe in being conscientious and operating with integrity and honesty, consistently producing quality work at reasonable fees.

This also applies to clients. If you don’t plan to follow the rules, I’m not your kinda gal. I do not work for the IRS, but I do follow regulations. I will always look for ways to lower tax liability through forward-thinking and strategic approaches under parameters allowed by law.

knowledge matters

I believe that knowledge matters. As a licensed CPA in the state of Oregon, I’m required, at a minimum, to submit 80 hours of continuing education every two years. In reality, I spend a significant amount of extra time researching tax strategies, continuing changes to the tax code, and learning the nitty-gritty so you don’t have to.

I know A LOT, but I don’t know what I don’t know. The good news is that by becoming a CPA, I’ve obtained a to a “license to learn.” I LOVE learning new things and solving complex problems. (If it involves a spreadsheet, I’m even happier.) That being said, if I feel your situation is beyond my expertise, I will be happy to refer to a team of trusted colleagues.

community

matters

I believe that by being involved in my community I can grow both personally and professionally.

I’m fortunate to live in a community known for collaboration. The annual Tillamook High School Charity Drive event is a class competition to raise funds for Dornbecher Children’s Hospital. The event, impressively supported by the community, raises a record number each year!

I currently serve as the YMCA Board Treasurer, my Church Board Treasurer, and am involved in Boy Scouts of America and Tillamook 4H with my children.
